Quick checks (do these first)

• Wait 60–90 seconds before tapping Resend OTP (too fast can delay delivery).
• Confirm the phone number is correct (country code, spacing, and SIM used).
• Try one method at a time (don’t request OTP repeatedly in seconds).
• Restart the phone and try again with stable signal.

If OTP is delayed, you can still use the alternative method on the
Big Daddy Login page (password login if your account supports it).

Fix SMS / notification permissions (Android)

The most common reason OTP doesn’t arrive is blocked SMS permission or notification delivery.
Make sure the app can receive SMS and show alerts.

1. Open Settings → Apps → Big Daddy.
2. Tap Permissions and allow SMS (if shown), Phone, and Notifications.
3. Go to Notifications and ensure all essential alerts are enabled.
4. If you use an SMS blocker app, temporarily pause it and retry OTP.

Tip: If your phone has “Battery optimization” enabled for the app, disable it to prevent OTP messages/alerts from being delayed.

Network & device settings that affect OTP

App cache, updates, reinstall

If permissions and network are OK, the next fix is clearing cache or updating the app.
This resolves stuck OTP screens and delayed requests.

1. Update the app to the latest version from the Download page.
2. Open Settings → Apps → Big Daddy → Storage.
3. Tap Clear cache (try OTP again).
4. If still failing, tap Clear data (you may need to sign in again).
5. As a last step, uninstall and reinstall, then request OTP once more.

After reinstall, go straight to
Big Daddy Login and try OTP again with stable network.

Security blocks & account checks

Sometimes OTP is blocked due to security triggers: too many attempts, new device risk checks, or temporary system limits.
Use these steps:

• Stop requesting OTP repeatedly. Wait 15–30 minutes after many attempts.
• Try signing in from the primary device you used before, then add the new device later.
• Check SMS inbox storage (a full inbox can delay new messages on some devices).
• If you see an “unrecognized device” alert, confirm it’s you and proceed; otherwise secure the account.
